No, I didn’t win the PGA Championship. But with the event coming to my home state of North Carolina in 2017, the PGA took the trophy on a statewide tour. We were fortunate at my home course, The Club at 12 Oaks, to host the trophy for a day. What a unique photo opportunity for our members! On another exciting note, this December issue brings to a close our first year of publishing Junior Golf TM . What a fantastic first year we enjoyed. Our publishing and creative teams learned plenty throughout the year, and we are committed to continuing to improve Junior Golf TM with every one of our eight issues in 2017. I have spoken with many of you who subscribe to our magazine, and thank you for your kind words. It is now time to renew your subscriptions, if you haven’t already. I hope you will do this today while it’s fresh on your mind. Subscribing now will ensure that you continue to receive Junior Golf TM , including our January issue in just four weeks. Please also help me to grow our subscription base. You can do this by mentioning our magazine to all of your golf friends, and by encouraging them to subscribe now. Your support in helping to spread the word about Junior Golf TM is much appreciated. Currently, we have subscribers in 42 states. Let’s make this a perfect 50 for 50 in the coming year. In closing, we are launching a new feature in January, where we will profile outstanding junior golfers each month. Please send in your junior golfer’s profile, with accomplishments both on and off the course, and a photo. Your write-up should be brief, to ensure that we have room for several each issue. Our editorial team will review the profiles that are submitted and select the juniors whose stories they feel are most interesting to our readers. Submissions should be sent to our social media director at allisonhince33@gmail.com. I look forward to receiving many profiles, and most of all I look forward to more exciting features with Junior Golf TM in 2017. Happy reading. Richard M.
