Glen Ellyn, IL, September 28, 2020 – The United States Golf Challenge (USGC) and Amateurgolf.com announced today that Amateurgolf.com’s highly successful Two-man Links and Father and Son Championship tournament, held annually at Bandon Dunes Resort, will become an official USGC National Qualifier beginning in 2021.
The 18th annual tournament, being played April 22-26, will be part of a nationwide series of qualifying events leading to the 2021 USGC National Championship.
The Two-man Links and Father and Son Championship offers four Divisions, Championship, Senior Championship, Net, and Father/Son. 30% of the best-ball fields qualify for the USGC National Championship, with the winning teams earning free entry into the USGC National Championship.
At the USGC National Championship, teams compete in one of four flights in two Divisions (Open and Senior) to represent Team USA at the International King’s Cup™ held in Ireland.
The International King’s Cup is a team match-play event played in honor of golf’s greatest ambassador – Mr. Arnold Palmer, whose Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship and Commitment to Excellence represent the ideals for which the game of golf is known.
