CAMP DATES: A nice, long camp season extends from May 21st , running consecutively on a weekly basis, through Sep- tember 21st . FACILITIES/EQUIPMENT: The camp facility features three indoor training bays, equipped with V-1 video equipment and the latest in swing analysis and TrackMan technology. Also located onsite is a 1,750-square foot gym with Cybex equip- ment and 52,000 square feet of practice greens and bunkers, as well as over 100,000 square feet of practice tees. A Callaway club-fitting shop adds to the convenient amenities at your fingertips. AGE GROUPS: The GNCGA summer camp welcomes junior golfers, both male and female, from eight to 21 years of age and provides them with a 6-to-1 student to instructor ratio. LODGING: If you choose to board for the summer camp, you will stay in one of the academy houses, located at The Farm in Carolina Forest. The Farm offers basketball courts, bike paths and an amenities center with a large community pool and exercise room. House parents supervise and care for each student, as well as shuttle them to and from their various appointments. EVENING/WEEKENDACTIVITIES: Students are treated to outings at the beach, minor league baseball games in season, the shark wake boarding park and the local movie theater. Fishing, zip-lining, putt-putt golf and other fun diversions are also part of the regular schedule. LENGTH OF OPERATION: The Academy first began hosting summer camps in 2010, and attendance continues to grow. Resort shuttles transport young guests to the practice facility and other destinations on the grounds.
